  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice apple vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 8 sweet Hawaiian slider buns
  • 1 cup broccoli slaw
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned while breaking it apart.
  3. Stir in ketchup, hoisin sauce, water, soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, and sriracha. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Toast Hawaiian slider buns lightly if desired. Spoon the beef mixture onto each bun and top with sliced green onions and broccoli slaw.
